ZACKIN-THREADERS
Operating instructions for use
with a hand sewing needle.

Please follow both these instructions
and the illustration carefully.

In order to thread standard, off-the-shelf sewing needles
and sewing machine, we recommend the use of the
ZACKIN UNIVERSAL THREADER - Size 1

For thicker threads (such as twine, Jeans-yarn, wool,
embroidery thread and especially darning yarn) please use
ZACKIN UNIVERSAL THREADER - Size 2.
The hook of the Size 2 threader is slightly larger
(so that it can pick up thicker threads) and can therefore
only be used with larger-sized sewing needles (1-7)
and sewing machine needles (90-110).

Always use the needle which suits the thread you are using.

NEVER PULL THE THREADER AWAY FROM
THE NEEDLE BY FORCE

The free end of the thread should always be kept short
so that the threader hook can be freed again quickly.

THE HOOK ALONE GETS THE THREAD HOME

1. Press the threader gently against the needle,
and insert the tip of the small hook into the eye of the
needle using a careful searching movement.

2. Hookl the short end of the thread
over the two projections and
PULL IT SHARPLY DOWNWARDS, then let it go.
THE THREAD IS NOW HELD ONLY BY THE HOOK!

3. Pull the threader away from the needle carefully,
if necessary using a slight tugging movement,
until the end of the thread has been pulled through
by the threader hook.
